The saddle club was started down on Mt Pisgah Rd. in 1969. We lost our lease a few years later after building the club house and ring on Hammil Hollow and Mt Pisgah. JB Buff leased us the land we have now for $1.00 a year. We moved the clubhouse you see now to the location on Mill Lane. Charles and Jean Brandon bought the land and continued the saddle club and built upon it. Jean still lives on the property and serves on our board of directors. We have had several great leaders over the years to help make the saddle club successful and survive. Some have passed on and riding with the Lord. Charlie Brandon, Joe Williams, Frank Williams, Walt Campbell, Gerald "Bo" Bowman. We have Open Horse Shows on the 3rd Saturday of each month starting in March thru October. 2010 President is Marty Teems and Vice President Phillip Williams.
